Friend's  of the German Pirates

We are an Australian Chilean couple living and working here together.

Martin worked for many years in the energy industry in Australia before being transferred to Chile in 2001. Lissette was born and studied to be a teacher in Viña del Mar. They fell in love during Martin`s spanish classes and decided that a sea-change was in order. They resigned from their jobs and began a bed and breakfast together in 2005. Then in early 2010 launched “Chilean Cuisine Cooking Classes” after listening to visitors say they would like to learn to prepare the local cuisine.
